Busy,Busy,Busy

Gymnastics +Soccer+Swimming+Girl Scouts+parties+friends and school  = BUSY

Come this summer we add, Cheerleading 3x week and Lacrosse will start this Fall! It just amazes me how one 7 year old can have soooooo much energy and be that busy all of the time. Amanda is doing outstanding in school, loves being with her friends and is always on the move.If only I had just a little of her energy, I would be golden… We can already see her brother will be just as busy as she is.

Update!!!!

We received an amazing update on Brayden TianCai today with some great photos. He looks like he is well taken cared for and as you can see in the last picture he is smiling. Our updated information is as follows:

TianCai has amazing imitating talent. If he sees people calling, he will pretend to make a call, if he sees children dancing from TV, he will follow the rhythm to dance and also says ‘one two on two’ while he is dancing. He is very independent and will go to neighbors’ house to find friends to play with and then will go home after the play is over. He understands what adult says to him and response them with simple words, but his pronunciation is not very clearly. He likes to climb high hills and his foster mom has to stop him few times, but he was not happy with it and he will try to say something arguing with foster mom and give her a unhappy face.  

Can call "nai nai" (grandma) and "ma ma", can climb stairs,can climb in and out of bed,when he wants something to eat will tell foster Mom "na" (get),when he is thirsty will say "he"(drink), will jump when having a temper.

We are so happy to have received this update and hope to be traveling within the next two months.We are more then grateful to his foster Mom and family for the wonderful care and love they have given him.

Lunch At American Girl

Today we took Amanda and her girlfriend to N.Y.C. to have lunch at  American Girl .We spent a cold rainy afternoon walking around N.Y.C. before heading over to American Girl,where we were treated to doll size lunch treats.Needless to say Amanda and Leah had an awesome time they even brought their dolls to have lunch with them. The girls had fun while shopping in a store that has four floors of dolls,clothing and accessories.

Happy 100th Birthday Girl Scouts

This week the Girl Scouts will be celebrating their 100th Birthday. Many of our local troops gathered on Monday to sing Happy Birthday, say their oath and do their promise circle. The girls ranged in all levels and they had a great time. The weather was great for this occasion except for the mosquitoes; they were out in full force. Way too early for them. Friday was Build-a –Bear night for our troop. The girls all made a Brownie Bear then had a pizza party afterwards. This was another fun night for the girls and this time no mosquitoes.

We have our Visa's!!!

OK so today we received our Chinese Visa's what a relief. Last week we sent all of our Passports off to a Courier; it can be very very nerve racking. Just the “what if's” are enough to make you crazy. Well it has been a long week, waiting to get these documents approved and back. So another step down, now COME ON Immigration let’s get our final approvals!
